Probably the wettest event in the world of OCR, if you are remotely aqua phobic this will challenge you to the core. Water Wipeout is the ultimate obstacle race and muddy fun run. This awesome challenge will include: Wild River Rapids, Water Slides, Fire Starter, Cresta Run, Free Fall, Tunnels, Hurdles, Giant Walls, Cargo Nets, Spider’s Webs, Balance Beams, Mud, Water and the Assault Course. waterwipeout 2020 preview

Water Wipeout is the WETTEST fun run in the world of obstacle racing - so if you are remotely aqua phobic then this will really challenge you to the core!

Hosted at the world class venue National Water Sports Centre conveniently based in Nottinghamshire. We selected this venue specifically based on it's amazing attributes, such as the ideal location in the centre of England makes it accessible from most areas. Capacity - this venue can cope really well with literally thousands on site at any one time as it plays host to some of the UK's most notable sporting events. There are plenty of areas to change, shower and get refreshments too. But we mostly selected this particular venue for it's plentiful supply of the wet stuff. Last year we introduced the white water course as an obstacle where you have to jump into the fast flowing water and boy did everyone enjoy that experience!

Race Distance. All our events are 5k or 10k obstacle races and muddy fun runs, each race is made up of five kilometre laps containing around fifty obstacles in the full race distance, so the choice is yours, one or two laps? Simply sign up for the event and you can decide on race day if you want to quit after one lap or complete the full 10k race distance. Please note not all of the obstacles will feature at each event.

All teams entries are welcome simply recruit ten or more team members then you will qualify for a 10% team discount.

Adult team entries will receive;- Technical t-shirt, finishers medal, silicon wrist band, over sixty obstacles in the full 10k event and possibly the best day of your life!

Create a team;- Simply register as the team leader and create your own team during the registration process. Once you receive your confirmation, you can invite your friends to join your team through the customer portal. You can pre pay for additional entries or you can invite people to join your team but they pay for themselves.

 Junior Warriors – Obstacle races designed specifically for adventure seeking children and families. Junior Warrior 1.5k for 4 to 11yrs and Teen / Family Warrior 5k for 12yrs and over, giving kids and families the chance to work as a team and experience the thrill of adventure.

Mini Warrior – 4 to 11 yrs 1.5k – Twelve obstacles, free medal & wrist band.

Teens / Family Warrior – 12yrs and over – Fun for all the family – Twenty five obstacles, free medal & wrist band.

The challenging natural terrain of this location is an obstacle in itself, the water sports centre is perfect for runners and triathlons with oodles of oozing mud and loads of lakes to dunk you in, we promise you will never be so wet, so muddy or so insanely satisfied by the end of the race. Its muddy good fun.

Safety – None of the obstacles are compulsory,  if there is something that you feel unable to do, then you can simply walk around, the choice is yours, stay safely!

Water Quality – Water facilities are supplied from a variety of sources including surface streams and the River Trent. The waters have fluctuating levels of bacteria and are similar to those found in UK coastal sea bathing waters. The water is tested regularly and prior to the event to ensure they are within parameters. If you fall ill with symptoms after the event, particularly from 3-19 days following, then see your doctor immediately.

Reduce the risk, avoid swallowing and/or splashing water or mud into your mouth, keep your head above the water, lower your self into the water where possible.
